Hello,
"FD" is my very own logo, but I want it to be fun too ! So I made it into a puzzle.
By the way, this project isn't expected to compete in the 3D contest as it doesn't ReAlly help mankind forward.
"Spoilers" for those who like puzzles :
There are two similar blocs which assemble perfectly into a cube. There is a hole in each blocs, hiding two small tubes. When the assembled cube is slightly tilted, the gravity pulls the tubes in the middle, preventing the cube to open (see image below). The cube can only open if the tubes are in their respective blocs. The only way to do so, is to use the centrifuge force by rotating the cube fast enough.
This is my first design on CATIA. I imagine it lacks the tolerance rules allowing the blocs to properly assemble.
Here is what it looks like assembled (images). The FD shows on each side :
Is it possible? Would it work? Thanks for your support !
EDIT : I have printed it once in 50% of size with one of your intern. 50% is the right size. However, without tolerances it was indeed impossible to assemble. Here below is the model with tolerance I would love to print back ( 1 green and 1 blue ).
Here is the bloc (3D). I'd love to have one Green and the other Blue :
Here is the Tube (3D).
