Hello,
Few weeks ago I bought a new console for my bathroom and it was delivered with a beautiful lighted mirror (cf. following picture). But I don't know why, Castorama's engineers have no thought to put a lamp cover in front of the light, and it hurts my eyes every morning ! ^^
So I've decided to 3DPrint myself a lamp cover.
I've first reproduce the light and the mirror. Then I designed a simple "bridge" between the light and the cover (in blue). And finally, I've imagine a simple curved cover by keeping in mind constraints of 3D Printing ^^ I didn't want to remove many supports and ruin my piece after operation.
The connection between the bridge and the cover is a "clip" mechanism (cf. left picture), to be able to change whenever I want the cover if I create a new one.
And the connection between the bridge and the light is a "deposit" mechanism (cf. right picture) to imbricate the two sides.
Finally the lamp cover look like that :
And the 3DPrint result :
Thank you FabLab ! :)
