I was getting ready for this spring season of fishing and replacing the line on my reels, when it occured to me that I needed something to help hold the new spool. I fired up SOLIDWORKS and came up with a handy design and printed it on my 3D printer. I designed the Fishing Line Spooler to handle all the standard-size spools available at the local tackle shop. The device can be mounted to a bench, or wall, or simply clamped to a bench or table using a spring clamp. The springs hold the correct amount of tension on the spools, making it a breeze to replace my line. Check out the pics of this cool build!
