I reverse engineered my watch strap with the help of rapid prototyping

I have a Titan HTSE (High Tech Self-Energized) watch (Image 1). Titan discontinued the production of the watch and its strap in 2022 as per my knowledge because that was when the storekeepers told me that the strap of the watch is unavailable and the Titan customer care executives verified it.

So, In May 2023, I made the decision to reverse engineer the strap, and in May, I began the process.

Previously I had designed the entire watch with proper dimensions using a manual vernier scale (here's the model) but I didn't give much attention to the strap. As I had already designed the body, my work became a little easier. I designed the strap from the broken pieces I had and did many iterations before I made the almost perfect design (Image 2).

Finally, I was able to replicate the design and the prototype fits the watch perfectly (Image 3)

The prototype you see in Image 3 is printed in Stratasys F370.

I designed the strap in Solidworks (Image 4)
