Hey guys! My big project of the year is Master Chief from the new game Halo Infinite. I wanted to post a progress update on where I am in the process and what is next.
Currently, I am taking on the challenge of making the helmet. My plan was to 3d print the main helmet using an FDM printer and print the small detailed parts using a Formlabs Form 2 SLA printer. This method has worked out very well so far. Right now I am sanding away at the main portion of the helmet, and the picture is where I am at.  
As you can see, I have removed the majority of the print lines which took almost 2 weeks of sanding to complete. Now, the challenge is to integrate the high quality resin print parts into this base model. Then all it needs is a coat of paint and we are ready to make a mold.
