I'm excited to share my first-ever project, a "Flying Helicopter Toy", which I designed and modeled using xApps (xDesign).
Here’s how the toy works:
- At its core is a rack and pinion mechanism. The rack, positioned at the back of the helicopter, is pulled to create linear motion.
- This motion engages the pinion gear, converting it into rotational motion to power the helicopter blades.
- As the blades spin rapidly, centrifugal force comes into play, lifting the blades off their base and sending them flying into the air.
This project has been a wonderful learning experience, combining mechanics with creativity has been so rewarding and xDesign made the entire journey even better.
Being new to this application, I found it incredibly user-friendly and it made the process of bringing my vision to life so much easier.
