Excited to share my latest project: the Flying Bird Mechanism, modeled in xApps (xDesign)! This design uses a spur gear system to convert rotational input into a smooth, lifelike wing-flapping motion. Inspired by the beauty of bird flight, it’s a blend of art and engineering, showing how simple mechanics can mimic natural movements.
With xApps, I was able to refine the complex geometry and bring out realistic, fluid wing movement. Take a look at the rendered images for a closer view!
