I did a complete uninstall and the reinstalled and finally Solidworks actually came up!!

I do not use any of the social apps so am ignorant of how to navigate these questions better to find answers to my questions. Seems to be rather time consuming to go through all other questions looking for my name . Did search my name and found them but there wasn't a contiguous thread to the original question. Obviously I am missing something.
