Hi,
I have a portable table top projector screen that I use to demonstrate SolidWorks when the demonstration environment does not allow me to project easily to a wall.
Recently the projector screen fell from a table (it was knocked over by a customer) causing one of the feet to break.
I tried a few searches but was unable to find anywhere that stocked any sort of accessories for these projector screens… the only viable option was to purchase a new screen!!
This is when I thought of the FabLab! What if I modeled the broken foot and got it 3D Printed, this would be a much cheaper and personally a more rewarding way of rectifying my problem!
I have modeled the component in SolidWorks and attached the STL to this post. I have also included a STEP file so that it can be modified if needed.
As you can see from the images, the component is black so ideally I would like to use Black ABS… although I am tempted to go for Red and have it stick out so I can tell everyone about how I 3D printed it :)
I am based in the UK, if the final component could be posted to me it would be great, otherwise one of the SolidWorks guys could pick it up and I will get it from them next time I see them.
Feel free to add comments if you have any questions about this small Fix it project.
