I have been testing a new workflow using the lasercutter and 1/8inch acrylic to create 3D forms using a heat gun. By etching the acrylic, I have been able to create creases that produce predictable angles when heated with the heat gun.

So far, I have been able to create surprisingly robust forms. I'm excited to continue this exploration using clear acrylic.
