🚀 Episode 9 of the Design Series: The last Prototype.

Join me in first part of my battle against Design Issues in this custom Computer Case for a NAS and learn from my mistakes !

Prototyping is a crucial step in any design process—even with the most powerful CAD software. In this episode, we’ll see why!

Last time, we faced some unexpected design issues, including clearance problems for SSD cables and fitting mismatches between structural parts. I have also some doubts about resistance of bottom plate. Time to fix them!

🔧 Using Issue Management on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, I documented and analyzed the problems, then adjusted my design—ensuring proper clearances for 3D-printed fittings and reinforcing the bottom plate to secure the most critical components: the hard drives.

🔥 Key takeaways from this episode:
✅ Always leave proper clearance when designing 3D-printed parts.
✅ Power cables demand respect—avoid sharp edges and tight spaces!
✅ Stronger bottom plates = safer NAS storage.

With these updates, we’re getting closer to a functional final assembly. Will this next iteration be the one? Stay tuned!
