Being apprentice, I have class period and during these periods I had to realize a little project which is to communicate with our command prompt to a drone (AR Drone quadricopter). I used an Arduino Yun card who served to be a network bridge using Wi-Fi.
All of a sudden, I told myself « wouldn’t it be great for a scientist to be followed by his calculating drone for outdoors expeditions? When he doesn’t need his drone anymore he just has to shut it down from a distance and the drone will come rank himself to a dorsal system like in Sci-Fi movies. When starting again, only the two underline motors will start and the drone will rise up in a very esthetic way. »
