Cooling down an ASRock C2750D4I motherboard

A month ago, I came accross a rather than worrying problem on my home server: CPU was suddently showing an outstanding 96° celcius and then automically throttling down. Rather than transforming the motherboard into a personalized fry pan, I started to look for a permanent solution to this heat issue.

After diving into various forums and asking the right questions, I finally found someone who came up with a proper solution by creating a special shroud that comes on top of the heatsink. This 3D printed piece needs to support the heat from the CPU as well as the weight/stress generated by the 92mm fan that plugs into it.

This will be my very first 3D printed piece and thanks to the MadeIn3D, I will be able to geek a bit more towards the end of this week ;-) I will post some photos of the finished product once installed.

[EDIT] Adding a few photos of the finished product. Thanks again to the MadeIn3D team ;-)
