I am quite sure that this is easily one of the most boring 3D printed projects that I have ever done.
At a certain time of day, during a certain time of year, the sun is in a very specific location, and it interferes with our garage door sensors. After providing "free comedic theater" for our neighbors as we would try to block the sun so that the garage door would close, I decided to do something about it. Starting with an existing bracket that I had sitting around, I modeled up a small piece to block out the sun.
Printed the part, attached it to the bracket with some wingnuts, attached it to the garage door sensor, and now our garage door will close no matter how sunny it is.
Boring, but functional!
