Hello Makers!  Last year we held a design competition for our SOLIDWORKS Champions that focused on a chess design using SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXCITE. Challenge details and results are in this post: 

Ultimately, our winner was the very well-known @TC from Greece with a very 😎cool😲 design: 

At this year's 3DEXPERIENCE World Houston Texas we plan to showcase Theodore's design in The HIVE and encourage everyone to stop by and admire his fine work - from the Virtual to Reality!

What I really want to know is... 

Are there any makers that would like to design and bring to world a chess board that we can use to display the chess pieces?  I could go to a store or online and buy any old board to use, but if there is someone who is up for designing and fabricating (and yes, bringing) a board to 3DXW25 a chessboard, that would be so, so, uber cool!  Of course your name would be featured!

Note: 

• The minimum dimension for each square of the board should be 30mm to 35mm square.
