Hey everyone,
On my last treks, both of my gas bottle supports broke, which was a real hassle when trying to cook outdoors. I’ve looked into replacements, but I’m thinking of printing some myself instead.
I haven’t done it yet, but the design is simple—similar to what’s commercially available—with a central piece to hold the bottle and two legs for stability. I’m planning to use ABS for durability and weather resistance.
Here’s the plan:
- Parts: A central piece to secure the bottle and 3 stabilizing legs.
- Material: ABS for its durability and weather resistance.
- Why: To make cooking on the trail more stable and less of a hassle.
I’m excited to see how this turns out and would love to hear any feedback or suggestions!
I'm based in Vélizy @SR do you think there would be an opportunity for me to print those? I’d love to see how they turn out!
