A quick update on the B-17 build. I test fit the landing gear and got her on her feet for the first time to take some pics. I also started painting. I got the base aluminum paint down and colored in the windows using a simple paint pen. I'm very happy with the results so far. Check out the little ball turret that mounts to the belly of the plane. I can see where George Lucas got his inspiration for the Tie Fighter.
