Hi everyone ✌
Today I want to share with you my newest creation made with the Solidworks for Makers license !
A backpack/3D printer !
After studying a little about the printer's power consumption and confirming that I could run it on drill batteries. I took on the task of designing a box to carry this 3D printer.
The design is simple because what I was looking for was something sturdy but not heavy to be able to support it for a few hours.
I took some aluminum profiles and some light plastic panels and after playing a bit with the shapes I decided to go for the haxagonal shape.
With two hours of autonomy and a considerable but bearable weight. I was able to exhibit this creation at a Maker event in France next to the French Solidworks team.
