3D Print to MakerBot Printer via Mobile App

MakerBot 3D printers in Auburn Hills is now connected to WiFi!

You can download the free MakerBot app on your iPhone or Android to send a 3D model to the MakerBot printer and watch it print LIVE! The 3D printer on the far left in the room is called 3DMonster and the middle printer is called 3DDiavel. Both are connected to the Guest WiFi. The MakerBot app will ask you to create a free account before you can use it. Once logged into the app, it will allow you to connect to a printer that it locates on the network. Select a 3D model from a library of objects in Thingiverse and send the job to the printer. Watch its progress on your app or stop by the FabLab just before it completes.

Remember, the Cube printer is available on the WiFi as well, and can receive jobs from its own Cubify mobile app.
