Introduction
3DSwym application allows you to utilize the power of communities and conversations to connect all users in the value stream, collaborate effectively, and achieve shared goals together.
This blog explains few enhancements delivered in the R2025x FD01 release that provided improved experience while using communities and conversations.
Customizing URL Preview
Before this enhancement, adding a URL in a 3DSwym wiki or post would generate a large tile with the webpage title and thumbnail, taking up significant space. Multiple links with this large tile preview used to clutter the page.
With this enhancement, you have more control over how web page links appear in your content. Various display options let you customize the link preview. This allows a greater flexibility and a cleaner layout.
The following display options are provided in the context menu of the web page links:
- Tile: Displays the link with title and a thumbnail image (If image is available in the target webpage)
- Title: Displays the title of the target page
- Link: Displays the link URL only.

New “Do Not Disturb” User Status
While using the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, when browser notifications and alerts are enabled, you receive real-time alerts whenever someone messages you or a notification is triggered.
However, such notifications can also be distracting during work. To help you stay focused on your tasks, you can now use the new Do Not Disturb user status, which hides all the browser notifications and other alerts.
This new status can be set manually from the “Me > My Status” menu of the top bar. This status is also automatically set whenever you share your screen. Once you finish presenting, your status reverts to the one previously selected.
Muting Specific Conversation
When using 3DSwym Conversations for group communication on a shared topic, staying notified is important. However, excessive notifications can be distracting.
If you no longer need instant notifications but still want to stay informed as part of the group, this new enhancement enables you to mute the specific conversation, using a new option “Mute” that is available in the context menu of both 1:1 and Group Conversations.
Muting a conversation hides notifications for new messages sent by its members, allowing you to stay connected without interruptions. This gives you better control over notifications from 3DSwym Conversations.

Sharable Link for Specific Wiki Headers
Before this enhancement, the only way to share a specific wiki page with other users was by generating a link through the Share option.
With this enhancement, you can now generate a sharable link for specific H1 or H2 headers, making it easier to direct users to a precise section within a large wiki page.
A new Copy Link command now appears next to H1 and H2 headers and becomes visible when you hover over them.
