First, the R2024x FD01 release is now live. With this new release, there come many significant enhancements including with 3DSwym – your main app to browse content and engage with other users in various communities.

Key NEW 3DSwym Highlights
Redesigned Navigation Panel
Seamlessly access your Conversations, Communities, Calls, ‘Me’ Profile, and Network in the redesigned navigation panel.
Conversations
Easily navigate to the conversations section to access your discussions. Then get more from your 3DSwym conversations – utilizing new text, audio, video, or screen-sharing options to effectively communicate and collaborate with your team.
Communities
Find all of your communities and set your favorites so you can access them anytime from the What's New page of 3DSwym.
Want to maximize your workspace? You can easily hide the communities panel to declutter the screen and increase readability.
Calls
The new Calls section allows you to view your favorite contacts and call history.
Me Section
The Me section has been revamped to allow you quick access to your contributions, drafts, bookmarked items, and profile.
Network
View the new network section from this panel. It allows for easy access to your connections on the app and viewing community activities.
Compact View
Within the community, you can specify how content shows up in your feed. Choose the compact view in the community for a more efficient display of content with minimal space utilization. This was previously only available within a selected community, but now it is available at the What’s New level.
Local Search
There are two types of searches within 3DSwym, global and local. Global search will search all communities you have access to for all types of content.
Local search allows you to focus on the current page or dashboard to quickly locate what you want to find.
Content Forward
The Forward functionality offers a way to forward content from one community or conversation to another so that broader audiences can be reached while maintaining scope and subject. To forward content to another place, you must be the community owner, content owner, or a member of a conversation.
The types of content that can be forwarded include:
- Posts
- Media (image, video, GIF, Document)
- Questions
- Wikis
- Ideas
- Messages
- 3DStories
In just a few simple clicks, the content is automatically forwarded to the targeted community or conversation.
Mobile App Experience Enhancements
The 3DSwym mobile app provides collaborative experiences for all; allowing you to access your content from anywhere and at anytime. And now the 3DSwym mobile app is even better!
The mobile app user experience has been refreshed to make your engagement seamless. With the ability to keep up with notifications on your mobile devices and smartwatches, you will never miss a beat.
