I know it's not Tuesday today, but never mind sharing the tip I found helpful, which saved me a good amount of effort to make myself ready for introducing configuration management capabilities within 3DX.
Recreating the physical product node structure can be time-consuming, especially when dealing with a multi-CAD environment for CAD data management. Additionally, a variant management solution requires a 3DX (CAD Format) parent node to apply variant effectivity on the solution node.
I discovered that the Create from Spreadsheet feature in the Engineering Release app is quite useful for creating the desired node structure and mapping the necessary attributes with columns from a spreadsheet. However, this feature is not enabled by default, and you need to activate it through the app's preferences by selecting the Show Create from Spreadsheet' command
