Supported Sustainability Standards & Gaps

Sustainability has become an important topic globally due to the issue of the Climate Change & Global Warming... more and more regulations are addressing this issue and others regarding Human being and Nature protection, with environmental, social and ethical perspectives.

Standards stand an important role in this matter to establish shared rules for products & companies sustainability performance and data exchange formats to facilitate circulation in the supply chain. Some regulations recognized that and rely on standards, like EU End-of-Life (ELV) regulations for their Reuse-Recycling-Recover (RRR) calculation based on the ISO 22628 standard; also WEEE and their RRR rates calculation based on the IEC TR 62635 standard.

Find attached a presentation on Sustainability Standards, as an initial draft, including the ones already supported (listed in colored rectangle in below slide) and identified gaps with the ones that would be interested to support (identified in grey color), in particular in the context of the EU Green Deal and the coming EcoDesign directive revision...

Supporting such standards could be key for our customers in some particular domains like the regulations on hazardous substances in products for establishing their materials compliance; collecting their supplier data could be greatly facilitate with adopting a data exchange standard format.

Please share your thoughts on this and which standards should we support for promoting our Sustainability Solutions...
