As many of you have heard, the upcoming V6R2014x release introduces the concept of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for all ENOVIA customers.  While the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform will provide many truly unique capabilities providing significant business benefits to our customers, in many ways, it is just a natural evolution of an existing ENOVIA implementation. In fact, all of our existing ENOVIA customers will be able to realize the business benefits of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform the same way they benefit from any V6 upgrade.  There are 4 key points to understand about this upcoming release:

• While the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform represents Dassault Systèmes’ latest technology innovations, ENOVIA V6 is deeply architected in its DNA.
• The ENOVIA user experience is enhanced and extended with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform powering “social collaboration” during product development from within and outside your company.
• As an existing ENOVIA customer, you can easily benefit from the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform with a standard license and technical upgrade similar to past V6 releases.
• Your past ENOVIA investments are protected and maintained while being able to gain greater value through the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

I have provided a few slides (and videos within the slides) to introduce some of the new 3DEXPERIENCE Platform capabilities that I think will be of most use to existing ENOVIA customers.  The availability of all of this may shift as the final touches of V6R2014x are made, but these slides will definitely give you some understanding of future direction.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

You should also be aware that even though the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform will include a cloud-based portfolio, the capabilities I describe in this material will be available on-premise over time.  You do not need a cloud-based implementation to benefit from the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
