Two ENOVIA apps - ENOVIA Project Planner (XPP) and ENOVIA Project Manager(DPM) are often talked about in the project management space. While XPP is available only on cloud, DPM is available both on-premise and on-cloud.

Customers can use XPP for team based planning and more recently for enterprise projects as well. DPM on the other hand has always been used to meet the needs of a more detailed project management process from templates through deliverables based project execution tracking. As XPP has evolved in scope to include enterprise projects, we have had requests from the field to come up with a comparison of the capabilities across the apps.

While this isn't exactly an apples-to-apples comparison, the intent is to get a better understanding of what is possible with each app - this way customers can decide which app better suits their needs and in some case maybe both apps are needed for some customers.
