In some cases when you open or print the drawings that you have received from someone else, it may be possible that they have set the drawing to use *.STB (Named print style) print Style. So, the *.STB styles are listed in “Additional Print Options” in the Print dialog box and under “Print Style” in the Properties Palette of the drawing, not the usual *.CTB (Color Dependent print style) Styles.
To change to usual *.CTB print Styles; simply type “CONVERTPSTYLES” in the DraftSight Command Window. You will see the message box below:
Click to “OK” button in the message box, this will convert the drawing from *.STB print style to *.CTB print style.
To confirm if the drawing is converted to Color Dependent print style, look in the Command window, you will see the following confirmation message “Drawing converted from Named print style mode to Color Dependent mode.”:
Now the drawing should list your *.CTB print styles.
