Network Version Upgrade DSLS prior to upgrading DraftSight to V1R2

This post only concerns Premium customers who have installed DraftSight on their network and are using the Dassault Systèmes License Server (DSLS).

A new version of DraftSight, version V1R2, is now available. This is the first Service Pack of Version 2. The previous version, V1R1.4, was the fourth Service Pack of version 1. (To check the version you are using select Help > About in the DraftSight window, the version number is displayed on About window that appears.)

It requires you to have the latest version of DSLS, V6R2012x, installed on your server, and a compatible license file.

To check the version of DSLS you are using, select Help > About in the License Administrator Tool of your server, the version number is displayed on the window that appears. If it says DSLS V6R2011x, you will need to upgrade. You should have recently received an email with a link to download DSLS V6R2012x and another email with your new license file attached.

This upgrade is fast and simple: Uninstall DSLS V6R2011x, install DSLS V6R2012x and enroll the new license file on your server and only then download and install DraftSight on the client machines. Remember that since version V1R1.4 the API is included in the main download.

Note that the new version of DSLS and the new license file are compatible with previous versions of DraftSight as well as the future version V1R3 of DraftSight.
