This HotFix addresses a Windows certificate that will expire on the 1st of March. It replaces the older Kernel DLL - "DDKERNEL.dll"  from the DraftSight installation location with the new one from HotFix.

 Please follow the below steps to manually replace the required DLL:

1. Save your work and close the DraftSight application.
2. Download the HotFix : https://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight-cad-software/free-download/
3. An EXE file "DraftSight_HotFix_2017R3.exe" is downloaded
4. Extract all the files from EXE to a folder (An example is shown in below image)
5. In DraftSight installation folder (<>:\\Program Files\\Dassault Systemes\\DraftSight) access the "bin" folder
6. Find  the "DDKERNEL.dll" and rename it to "DDKERNEL.dll_old"
7. In the HotFix folder where files are extracted, go to the folder "Files"
8. Copy the "DDKERNEL.dll" and paste it in DraftSight installation folder "<>:\\Program Files\\Dassault Systemes\\DraftSight\\bin"
9. It is recommended to reboot the system after installing the HotFix
