Last Thursday, May 30th took place the long-awaited CATIA Design User Day France. On our Dassault Systèmes campus in Vélizy, numerous users and customers took the time to participate to an afternoon dedicated to industrial design, exchange about the challenges and the transformations they face in the industry.

WOMEN IN DESIGN - CELEBRATING WORLD INDUSTRIAL DESIGN DAY WITH ANNE ASENSIO, IDSA & WDO 🎉

Dassault Systèmes VP Design Experience, Anne Asensio was hosting 2 Women in Design events in the USA last week, on Tuesday 18 June in Royal Oak (MI) & on Friday 21 June in Long Beach (CA). It was two insightful evenings of connection and sharing, to discover how women can reshape design narratives in today's world, embrace the unknowns, and drive action towards a better future.

[CATIA Design Talk] - AERODYNAMICS FOR DESIGN STYLING EXPLORATION FOR VEHICLES - ON JUNE 25 AT 4:00 PM CET

On June 25 took place our last CATIA Design Talk, dedicated to Virtual Vehicle Styling using Aerodynamic Guidance & Immersive Visualization.

During a rewarding discussion, CATIA expert Lilian CHOU and SIMULIA expert Nicolas FOUGERE presented us the best in class solution allowing the aerodynamics performance information to be brought into the design studio as guidance for early concept design.

Design a pawn transformer with 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA

Take a look at this fantastic project designed by @KL, CATIA Engineering Industry Process Consultant Specialist and @MR, Senior Portfolio Technical Specialist for CATIA Design and Product Experience.

Based on the famous chess game, they imagined and designed a 3D model of a pawn piece that can transform itself into a queen, using the 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA capabilities.
