You might remember that we introduced in the release R2022x the ability to explore Physics Simulation Results while presenting a design project :
Here is now a tutorial video showing the basic steps to create this new type of variant, Simulation Result Variant, enabling to:
- Easily show one set of results or another, or both for comparison purposes
- Set the result animation parameters (duration, loop...)
- Create a simulation result variant from 1 or more results
- Explore the results in presentation mode while playing the animations
It is worth noting that, at anytime, even while authoring a design presentation, you can launch the HMD mode to also review the simulation result variants in VR. This is illustrated in the What's New video found in the post mentioned above.
Such physics simulation results can be displayed in PPX providing they have been generated as "experience content" with the app SIMULIA Physics Result Explorer. More info in the User Assistance guide.
We believe such feature should help iterating even earlier in the design process between designers, engineers and simulation experts.
