Environment variants - Getting started with CATIA Product Perception Experience (PPX) #4

In this 4th tutorial video, you'll learn how to create Environment variants from 360° HDR ambiences to easily try different lighting conditions when presenting a design project.

Environment variants can be created from PLM ambiences found in the physical products inserted in a PPX presentation, or from PLM ambiences existing in a collab space, or from "visu" ambiences (the ones from the work area background menu).

You'll see as well that it's pretty straightforward to generate and publish realistic rendering to 3DSwym from within the app.

On the way, this video shows some new features introduced in 20x HF2 (aka FD01), like pressing F1 to get contextual help about a panel (e.g.: PPX Properties panel, 3DEXP Preferences), a progress bar in variant thumbnails and variant lines for variant-based actions that takes more than 1 sec to complete, and the VNav tool.

This app is available in the 20x role Product Experience Presenter.
