Boeing: Record 777X Order Placed in Dubai | #DesignedwithCATIA

Boeing Co.'s planned 777X long-haul airliner grabbed the bulk of orders Sunday at the first day of the Dubai Airshow, with at least 225 planes on the books in an eye-popping display of the spending power and aggressive expansion efforts of Gulf carriers. In total, Boeing says that it netted at least 367 orders in deals believed to exceed \\\$130 billion at the Middle East's premier aviation fair. Boeing CEO James McNerney Jr. called it part of the "largest commercial launch in aviation history" for a planned aircraft: the bigger and more fuel-efficient model of the company's popular 777 wide-body. Victoria's Secret Designed & 3D Print the Snow Queen's Costume for its Annual Fashion Show

3D printed in the Shapeways factory in NYC and festooned with thousands of Swarovski crystals, the fractal snowflake inspired costume is part of the finale of the parade to be aired on the 10th of December on CBS. Don't forget to tune in on December 10th. ;)

The Contest Brief

The winning project should propose user and environmental friendly idea and at the same time reflect the special character of Prague, a contemporary European city world-famous for its architecture and home to hundreds of landmarks.

The aim of the contest is to illustrate the potential of design to improve people’s lives and show that design is not a matter of luxury but a matter of comfort.

inFORM: An Interactive Dynamic Shape Display that Physically Renders 3D Content

inFORM is a Dynamic Shape Display that can render 3D content physically, so users can interact with digital information in a tangible way. inFORM can also interact with the physical world around it, for example moving objects on the table’s surface.

inFORM is currently under development at MIT’s Tangible Media Group. You can see the video here.

Fiat 500 1957 Edition unveiled @ the LA Auto Show

Fiat has unveiled the 500 1957 Edition, ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Drawing inspiration from the original Cinquecento (aka Nuova 500), the 1957 Edition is based on the 500 Lounge and features a retro exterior that is available in three classic colors: Bianco (white), Verde Chiaro (light green) and Celeste (celestial blue). The car also has a Bianco roof, a sport-tuned suspension and exclusive 16-inch wheels with all-season performance tires. Read More

AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept by Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz has revealed a teaser image of its Vision Gran Turismo Concept, a vehicle that will be featured in virtual form in the upcoming GT6 video game franchise. The concept could be unveiled at the upcoming 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, although no official statement has confirmed this.

Jaguar F-Type Coupé launched @ LA Motor Show

Well here it is. The F-Type R Coupé, a car Jaguar promises is its most badass yet, has been unveiled at the LA Motor Show. Actually “performance focused” is the official language used, but with 550bhp in a relatively compact all-aluminium body and some nifty new brake-steer technology, who are they kidding? Simultaneously, Jaguar has been going a little Miley recently, urging us to tweet that #itsgoodtobebad and generally wanting to be regarded as the industry’s transgressive. As if.
