after the long summer break, I am delighted to present you our next CATIA Design Talk to inspire you with beautiful designs! Our CATIA Champion @Tony PAREZ-EDO MARTIN has developed a beautiful concept design of an air-purifier. Tony was inspired by the work of architects like Zaha Hadid, Santiago Calatrava and Gaudi. He modeled Calatrava’s Umbracle, a curved walkway with shaded forms designed to protect biodiversity, using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform’s design tools. His design is biomimicric and inspired by ocean and is light and clear.

But Tony did not stop at the design. He developed all mechanical parts like electric motor and LED lights that naturally purify the air. And he did all the simulations for the air flow and the movable parts of the purifier!

In this talk, Tony will give us a short overview about his design intent, the design of the E-Flow and we will take a closer look on how the design, mechanical and simulation parts come together on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
