Hello, I am Aniket Varade currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering and also part of Team Kratos Racing Electric. I am facing some simulation difficulties in my Final Year project which is 'Design and Analysis of Vapour Chamber for electronics cooling. '
Vapour Chamber is a device which works in two phases that is liquid and vapour.
Lower plate is the evaporator plate where the fliud will be converted to the vapour state due to the heat absorbed and will reach the condenser (upper plate) by the capillary tubes.
So in the experimentation setup I will be providing a heater block at the boyyom and will heat the bottom plate at the temperatures finalised. There will be a thermocouple at the bottom which will monitor the temperature of bottom plate.
The heat absorbed by the fluid(water) inside the chamber. The chamber from inside is completely sealed and the vaccume is present there. Another thermocouple is at the upper surface which will monitor the temperature.
In the simulation software I want to perform this 2 phase analysis of chamber in order to get results that how much heat is dissipated.
The material of chamber is copper
- Inputs:-
- Heat Flux
- Ambient temperature
- thermal coefficient of liquid
