Hello everybody! I'd like to share a model on Tchebicheff’s Mechanism that me and my team made as a project given for an internship.
In that I came across 3DEXPERIENCE software and get to learn new things about software
What is Tchebicheff’s mechanism?
In kinematics it is four bar mechanism which converts rotational motion into approximate linear motion
It is a four bar mechanism in which crossed links OA and O1B are of equal length.
The point P, which is the mid-point of AB, traces out an approximately straight line parallel to OO1.
AB : OO1 : OA = 1 : 2 : 2.5
How was this made?
We created sketch of links of our assigned mechanism using Part design feature. Then we assembled the links using Assembly Design feature. We also created an animation of the mechanism by using the given videos as reference. Mechanical Systems Design and Mechanical systems Experience feature was used to create animation.
