Hello Friends, we are 'Team Impalas' We have developed a “Sun-Self Balancing Vehicle” which runs on solar power for the short distance transportation.
21st Century is dealing with problems such as increase in number of SI/CI vehicles that require everlasting fuels to operate which are non-renewable sources of energy. These conventional vehicles also cause road congestion, air pollution and parking problems. To tackle air pollution and depletion of fuel, our current project work deals with design and development of Sun-Self Balancing Vehicle for short distance travel in the city with 20Km radius area like Solapur. The present work is focusing on design and development of the product with maximum speed of 18-20 km/hr, 800 Watt Powered Motors operated using solar energy. Solar powered energy is used because of its highly efficient, easy handling and economical and have an innovative mobility solution designed for all, we can solve mobility issues post pandemic era with once solar charged, it can travel a distance of 30Km.
In the present work, the detailed design and development of “Sun-Self Balancing Vehicle” with 3D Modeling and kinematics by using the 3D EXPERIENCE Platform is done successfully. Overall product development is done in 3D Experience Platform with the tool like Part Design, Assembly Design, Mechanical System Design for Kinematics, Mechanical System Experience, Project Management Tool, Enovia Project Planner, System Engineering, Dymola Behavioral Modelling etc. During this project we have undergone the training on
“Fundamentals of systems engineering”, “X-Design Fundamentals ”on 3DEXPERIENCE
EDUSpace and attended different webinars. The vehicle is under development in our campus.
This vehicle can be used in the airports, in small malls, short distance travels like college or school and even for patrolling purpose without causing any harm to the nature.
