In a discussion group, a SolidWorks beginner asked about this part and how he can manage this shape. He was stopped as shown below.there
Someone answer that you can use the Surface technique to make it, but as a beginner it's hard to use Surface so there must be an easier way to make it.
To solve this in the minimum number of steps you can make it as 3 combined parts together :
1- square base
2- cutted cylinder
3- egg shape (oval shape)
First make the square base with a dimension 80 X 80 mm
Then make a cylinder with a diameter 50 mm
then make the cut with radius 25 mm
Then make the egg shape with the given dimension. Be careful to check (Merge result) to have one solid part
finally apply the fillet
Sometimes even the shape looks irregular you can use simple and basic tools to make it.
