This SOLID Saturday we have suspension system mechanism animation here. Previously we have seen the optimization of the bell crank lever with functional generative design. This time I've created the motion of the Suspension damper with functional spring. This can be done using the inter component references as I did for the spring. This mechanism is used widely in the vehicles in which the A-Arm is used to connect the suspension push rod and the upright. Then the load is transferred from the A-Arm to bell crank and then to the damper by changing the direction of the force.
