’m excited to unveil one of my most ambitious mechanical design projects a complete Formula One car, meticulously modeled from scratch using SolidWorks. This design isn’t just a visual concept; it reflects a deep understanding of the aerodynamics, mechanical systems, and real-world constraints that define high-performance race cars.
Every curve, wing, and suspension component has been crafted with precision to simulate how a real F1 car balances downforce, drag reduction, weight distribution, and cooling — all essential to delivering optimal performance on the track.
Here are the images:
1️⃣ Isometric View – Showcasing the overall body shape and wing setup
2️⃣ Front View – Highlighting the aggressive aerodynamic stance and suspension geometry
3️⃣ Side View – Displaying the car’s sleek profile and chassis flow
Key Features: ▪️ Aerodynamic front and rear wings for downforce optimization
▪️ Realistic chassis design for airflow and cooling considerations
▪️ Integrated suspension and tires based on accurate dimensions
▪️ Fully designed using SolidWorks
This project helped me enhance my skills in 3D modeling, surface design, and understanding how mechanical and aerodynamic systems come together in motorsport design.
Always happy to connect with fellow engineers, and I’d love to hear your feedback or thoughts
Huge thanks to SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Système for providing the incredible tools to bring this vision to life 🙏❤️
