Can't download solidworks from 3D Dashboard

When trying to download, it gives an error: the 64 bit Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is not installed on this computer. It then gives a link to download JRE. I followed the link, installed JRE, then tried downloading solidworks again and it's giving the same error. It is not recognizing the java download.
