The 3DEXPERIENCE Academic Cloud will be updated to 2023x on 3rd December.
All Native Application Installations will have to be Mandatorily "Updated" to 2023x GA, before you can start working with the Native Apps after the said date.
Anticipated Action for Users:
- Who- 3DEXPERIENCE platform Academic Users with
- Sponsorship Licenses
- Students Offers Purchased Licenses
- Institutional Cloud Licenses etc
- When- Saturday 3rd December 2022 onwards when Update is Available for Download and Install, or your first use after this point of time.
- What- Download and Install the Update (R2023x) of the Native Applications on your computer. (Recommended: First Uninstall Previous Installation). The Download can require approximately 20GB of data, and average Installation Time can be 1-2Hr, but depends on your hardware and network speed.

General Information: There are Two Types of Updates: 1) GA > Example: R2022x to R2023x 2) Hotfixes > Example: R2022x HotFix 6.1 to R2022x HotFix 6.2 With "HotFixes", you generally have One Month to complete the update and until then you can continue to use your Native Apps with the existing Installation/Release. With "GA", you will have to Mandatorily Update once the update is available, only then can you use the Installed apps. You cannot continue to use the old version without updating.

For Academic Users, only some of the Apps/ Roles are relevant, (Other Apps are not available, as compared to Industry/Commercial Users). We will publish an Academic User Specific List of Highlights for the R2023x Release once the Update is Available.
