Gear

In one of my free moments, I designed a gear as a practical engineering exercise. This type of component is fundamental in mechanical systems, as it allows for the efficient transmission of power and motion, speed control, and the ability to increase or decrease torque depending on the application.

The design process involved understanding aspects such as module, number of teeth, pressure angle, and gear ratio. To achieve this, I used operations such as symmetry, trimming, and extruding. This type of exercise helps improve design skills, which are essential in the training of students and professionals.
