I have made this for Project of the year 2021 challenge by 3dexperience edu. It is fully done in Solidworks. Reducing carbon emission with sleek lines and providing best possible amount of usable space and layout was the main intention behind this project. In this project it is tried to make a best possible design which is conventional and Eco-friendly. It is a tri-deck yacht with tons of room available for indoor and outdoor entertainment. The massive waterline length gives the boat tremendous ability to save fuel. Speaking of ability, this yacht is equipped with 5 Generators. 2 of them are main generators and other are for standby or when in dock or anchor for electricity generator. Main generators generate up to 1000kW or 1340 hp which can push it at 20Knots maximum. This speed is massive compared to its size. One of its exceptional features is it can run in single engine alone or use both engine whenever necessary. This ability to choose only one engine or both results to one the most efficient propulsion package.
Zero Carbon Emission and Full Silent Mode
To step up in Eco-friendliness, the yacht is equipped with 45 Solar panels which have 450W capacity each. Which makes total power generation capacity of 20kW. Using this power alone the yacht is capable of achieving speed up to 4.25 Knots. So, at this speed the yacht is emission free. Well, of course in real world scenario this speed sometimes can be less, but it’s always a relief to know it’s there whenever required. When it is not required to run all day. This energy can be saved to use later or it can meet up the general power requirement of the yacht. Making it fully silent at the spot. Moreover, being electricity driven the solar power can be used in conjunction to other generators, making this Eco-friendlier than general.
Smart Layout Generally, any boat of this size has engine-room in the stern of the boat. But, unlike all of them the engine room is the bow of the yacht and the engine room has 5 generators of two different capacity rather than conventional engine and generator. AS being electric propulsion the power can be transferred by wires to the propellers which is driven by electric motors.
