Hello everyone,
As an Apple product user, one of the products that I, like many other users, might have thought "did they really put much thought into this design(!)" could be the 1st generation Apple Pencil. When we compare it with the 2nd generation Pencil and 1st generation Pencil, the fact that it doesn't attach to the iPad with a magnetic system and the absurdity of plugging it into the tablet's Lightning port for charging are some things that don't look very pleasing. However, today, I want to focus a bit more on the visual aspect.
I aim to design a practical product to be placed on my desk, allowing the Pencil to attach to the tablet outside of its case. I have considered various designs and sought inspiration from different design websites like Thingiverse. Yet, while I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, a suggestion from someone close to me led me to a design that looks quite elegant and even made me smile when I noticed a small detail that highlights Apple's flawed design. I created this design using the tools of both xShape and xDesign.Additionally, I also obtained a render from SOLIDWORKS Visualize to see how it looks with the Apple Pencil and get a realistic image.
I want to express my gratitude to the TEKYAZ family and @EB for the training I received and the opportunities they provided to create these products.
See you in the next part design.
