3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Students comes packed with tools for design, validation, and collaboration. At its core, you gain access to 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Premium , which provides SOLIDWORKS Premium capabilities with additional cloud-based data storage and PLM tools. 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS requires local installation and uses your local hardware but does require an internet connection to activate and maintain the licensing.
In addition to the design tools, students will have access to all of the data and lifecycle management capabilities to help them start implementing proper practices early! They will also gain access to the Project Planner role which will allow them to stay organized and make sure all of their projects stay on track.
Students will have access to three browser-based CAD apps that allow them to design anywhere, on any device; even mobile devices such as tablets.

3D Sculptor is a cloud-based CAD design role available to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This brings the power of sub-division modeling to the cloud, allowing you to complete your designs from all of your devices including mobile devices such as tablets and phones.
The sub-division modeling technology brings you the power to create organic geometry with a push and pull environment allowing you to create complex geometry traditionally only possible with complex surface modeling. This modeling service is powered with the SOLIDWORKS xShape app. It is fully compatible with 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, allowing you to design parts on the go and utilize those parts in your SOLIDWORKS assemblies
3D Sheetmetal Creator :
3D Sheet Metal Creator is the 3DEXPERIENCE role focused on the design of sheet metal parts and assemblies. The SOLIDWORKS Connector is an App that is integrated into SOLIDWORKS's task pane and allows you to connect directly to 3DEXPERIENCE.
With 3D Sheet Metal creator you can:
