HELVITEK LABS IS LAUNCHING AN INNOVATIVE FACEPIECE THAT PROTECTS HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM THE INJURIES CAUSED BY RESPIRATORS
After more than a year designing a new type of anti-pollution masks, HELVITEK LABS, a Lausanne-based start-up installed in the EPFL innovation park, interrupted the development of its product in order to propose an emergency solution and help meet the equipment needs of medical staff in the fight against COVID-19. It offers an innovative facepiece made in medical elastomer designed to protect health professionals from the injuries caused by wearing FFP2 and N95 respirators for extended periods.
