8. Why do you want to apply for the champions program? Write in your own words. To me, mechanical design is both a rigorous science and an artistic pursuit. Achieving the Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE) credential was a massive personal milestone, but it also crystallized my mission: to elevate engineering design standards across Africa. As a SOLIDWORKS User Group Leader, I currently head an active community of over 1,500 students, driving peer mentorship and technical growth at a grassroots level. I want to join the 3DEXPERIENCE EDU Student Champions program to connect this massive pool of local talent with global innovations. Becoming a Champion will provide the resources, network, and platform needed to scale our impact, foster deeper technological literacy, inspire students to look past standard textbooks, and experience the "aha!" moment of true mechanical discovery on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
9. How do you want to contribute to the community?

As the leader of the Benin SOLIDWORKS User Group and the convener of the AFRISWUG coalition, I am deeply committed to engineering mentorship. If selected as a Champion, I plan to contribute in three distinct ways:

  • Curriculum & Bootcamps: Expanding initiatives like the "SOLIDWORKS Blitz" to integrate 3DEXPERIENCE cloud workflows into student engineering curricula across Nigerian universities.
  • Content Creation: Producing high-quality, locally informed tutorial content via MKV Consulting to show students how to solve real-world industrial challenges.
  • Peer Mentorship: Fostering an active, collaborative environment within the SWYM networks and regional user groups to guide the next generation of African designers from basic drafting to expert-level parametric design.
10. Confirmed Activities* To be updated after shortlisting (*To be completed by 3DEXPERIENCE Edu | Students community management team.)
