Engineering the Grind: Industrial Heavy Machinery Design

Before the juice flows, the engineering has to do the heavy lifting.

This industrial sugarcane mill assembly was built ground-up in SOLIDWORKS to explore the raw mechanical power required for high-torque, heavy-duty processing. As seen in the structural framework layout below, the design relies on a massive, rigid bedplate designed to absorb severe vibrational loads.

By integrating the full mechanical drivetrain visible with its massive spur gears, heavy flywheels, and crushing rollers the project focuses on managing intense kinematic reduction and structural integrity. It's a deep dive into the kind of rugged, large-scale industrial machinery that keeps processing plants moving.
