As of July 8th, with the 2023x FD03 release, the CLOSA process has been updated to streamline the early onboarding experience. In the following wiki pages, we will refer to the new process. If you wish to understand what the changes are, please read this wiki section. DSxClient has also been updated to reflect these changes, please pay attention to the update ⚠️ warning below.
Introduction
We established in Pre-sales best practices that it is crucial that you identify early the right contact to become the platform administrator.
Once your customer will decide to place their order, you will need to place the order in DSxClient. There are 2 best practices for you to follow to make sure that your process runs smoothly.
🗣️ Warn your platform admin
Your "platform administrator" will receive an important email as soon as you have placed the PO in DSxClient. It's important that you have explained to them before what this email is and what actions they will have to take.
📧 Here is key information about the email sent to the "Platform Administrator":
- Subject: Action Required: Your 3DEXPERIENCE platform is ready
- Header inside the email: Your 3DEXPERIENCE platform is ready - Transaction document
- Email content:
- Explanation of what will happen when the customer launches the platform
- CLOSA: link to the CLOSA + instructions
- "Launch your 3DEXPERIENCE platform" button
- Tips
- Links to resources
- Details of the order
✅ Make sure you fill the PO fields with the correct information

⚠️ You will need to make sure that when you fill your PO in DSxClient. You will have to put the email address of the contact who will act as platform administrator in the "Online Service Access Contact" field. See the slide below as reference.

Make sure everyone involved with placing PO in DSx.Client is aware of the process and the importance of filling correctly the PO admin information field. This information should be part of the onboarding of your new employees who will be involved with PO.
