Session Abstract

This presentation is an annual update on benchmarking studies (over 379,000 runs to date) that break down major hardware areas to help understand the impact on SOLIDWORKS performance. This year, we look at the latest Intel Core Ultra processors to see how they compare with the previous Intel Core I series. We will also be looking at the latest Blackwell graphics cards from Nvidia to see how they compare to previous generations. Through strong partnerships with hardware suppliers such as Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Dell, Lenovo, and Boxx, we have been able to test trending hardware, including, but not limited to, Intel Pro processors, AMD Threadripper processors, Nvidia and AMD professional workstation graphic cards, and various workstation set-ups.
